What do chiropractors do?
Chiropractic is a manual approach to healthcare that includes patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment. It focuses on the spine, pelvis and extremity joints, and their effect on the nervous system.
What is an adjustment?
An adjustment is the most common chiropractic treatment — a non-invasive, manual procedure also called spinal manipulative therapy. It is performed by a practitioner trained over four years of chiropractic education, and aims to decrease pain and restore function by improving joint mobility and reducing muscle tightness and spasm.
